Sarandon and Balandon wetland
This wetland collection is located near the village of seyyed mahalleh that is 25 km away from sari towards Babolsar and it has two parts: north (Sarandon) and south (Balandon).
Their width is about 30 hectare and their average depth is one meter. They are full of water in the winter and fall and low water in the spring and summer due to crop uses. The water of these wetlands are sweet.
There are reedy and marish plants inside and around them that are surrounded by meadows and plantations.
This collection of wetland owing to good climate, sweet water,vegetation, and foodstuffs is a habitat of birds and acquatic animals. These wetlands have become a habitat for migratory birds such as: Swan, Duck, Ghare ghos, parla and other birds in the autumn and winter. Appropriate access, Flourishing and pleasant area, pristine and wild scenes, have created interesting circulating areas that can be used by tourism industry.
Semeskande wildlife shelter
Semeskande wildlife shelter is located 10 km away from south-east of sari. The route to access it, is from sari to semeskande and then it rides through a rustic road into the enclosure.
Important plant species are; hornbeam, evangelical, alder, raspberry, and lilaki. And important animal species are; fallow deer, ibex, chamois, pheasant, any types of hunting birds, jackal, forest cat, squirrel, forest marten, hog, forest eagle, owl, forest pigeon and the wolf.
Strait Soloman Dam
This dam is located 45km away from the southwest of sari.
Strait soloman dam was built in 1379 to visit by travelers and tourists. And it is very suitable accommodation. Visiting the dam crest is possible. There are boating and ski facilities for enthusiasts.
Tajan river protected area
Tajan river protected area is located in the mazandaran province. This river originates from the mountain of NirAbad and after going through the mountainous way enters the tajan valley and then flows to the east of sari along the kiasar-sari route and slopes into the Caspian sea.
Due to the adjacent of road with the river can be watch beautiful views like the valleys, plantation, jungle, and special bridges of rustic- forest areas on the way to this river.
This river has varieties of trouts and salmons on the upstream and there are varieties of carps down the river.
And it is allowed to prey them by having a hunting licence.
